Everything you need to know about the new Loffice building in Budapest

April 17th

After more than a decade Loffice is starting a new chapter in the up and coming 8th district of Budapest. The house, in the historic red-light district, will not only be a new centre for the start-up scene, it has been completely reborn as a whole complex - from coworking and coliving to meeting and event space, you can find everything.

Where is the new space?

The vibrant and upcoming 8th district is cooler than you think. The new building is just around the corner of Rákóczi square, under Salétrom street 4. You can get here by public transport via tram line 4-6 or metro 4 but bus & troli also stops on the other end of the street at Harminckettesek Square.

What does the new space look like?

Loffice’s brand new, multi-functional, creative playground is based on the community concept and offers a 245 m2 coworking space on the first floor. The open design space, accessible by stairs or lift, has 3 conference rooms, a community kitchen and an event space on the ground floor. Merging working & living spaces + providing a field to play & create, this building offers a true sense of community. Fuel your business or leisure functions with an event hall & inner courtyard, community rooftop & kitchen, coliving apartments or studio offices. Thanks to its creators, the artists Marcell Esterházy & Willem Van de Ven, the building’s facade is a unique addition to the streetview.

I don't quite understand but can I come by?

Sure! We are happy to do a 1-to-1 site visit and show you around. Let’s fix an appointment via phone or email! If you’re unsure yet what service of Loffice you’re interested in, no problem, we can figure out together.

Why do you move?

10 years is a long time, renewal is mandatory! Adjacent to the plot of our new base, the building of an old plastic factory has been operating as an Loffice office since 2013. In 2018, we began the construction work on its courtyard. Our old desire has come true by not only offering work and office functions in a newly built multifunctional complex but complementing all of this with living spaces and impleenting the concept of coliving. Our goal is to create real (residential) communities and close ties with the residents of the neighbourhood. We believe this is the primary guarantee of a sustainable city life.

What happens to the Paulay Ede st. location?

We keep it! Our first base, where we also operated our coworking office and event space for 11 years, continues to operate Loffice as a venue for long-term rental offices. The coworking, meeting and event functions have completely moved to our new building in Salétrom Street. You can also find our team and reception here.

I'd like to rent a workspace / event space / apartment / office. What should I do?

Book online directly in the related webpage menu or contact us here.

We look forward to meet you in person as soon as lockdown is over!
